Breakable Doors

For me raiding is a big part of dayz, so i would find it atleast to be able to have the ability to blow up doors.

Whats everyones thoughts?

Players losing all their stuff is one of the main reasons players quit servers.  

While its no mystery that our group loves to raid people as much as anyone,  having people that want to keep playing here is more important to me.  

And since you cannot take plotpoles, which is the main reason for raiding on most servers, the only reason to break down someones door is to either grief the base owner or hope that by some miracle a safe is zeroed or whatever.  But at this point in the server life, not many safes are zeroed and population is more important.

But i would probably vote for it in the future for sure....

you can get into any base, air locked or not, with enough dedication and time. getting in to someone base should take more coordination and effort than waiting for server pop to drop below 10 then spend half an hour trying to "force open lock"

I feel as though being able to chainsaw a base door should implemented, but honestly getting into a base is useless if the owner is smart and locks his safes.

I think that this would be a good idea for a second server but on a second Udder server in the future

I'd find this unfair as the bigger clans could easily raid small 1x1 starter kit bases, which would make it even harder to start off.
Locked
