Third option - doors are the only destructible base items.
- Lets people get creative with drawbridges and other deterrents
- Bases won't be completely destroyed or stolen, only raided (way fewer rage quits)
Also, safe hacks will create a lot of crying to admin in side about their safes being deleted and sending you screenshots or whatever. Sounds annoying.

My plan is to have a message displayed to the entire server that there is a safe being hacked, and then to have that safe marked on the map for other players to go to. I would also have personal logs of which safes were hacked and the location.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty good script!
What do you think of the door idea? I've seen the destructible doors thing on a few other servers

I will add this as a separate option and do the same as the safe script if people want it. This way, you can not only raid bases, it also promotes combat by sending a lot of players in that general direction.

So you would hack a door rather than break it down?
It would be cool if you could break the door down and you would get that mission notification come up, because if you're just unlocking a door it makes that kinda useless for dealing with base campers. They could just re-lock the door when you finally get a hotwire kit to work
