Ideas - Missions and Fishing

Hello Everyone,

I joined the server a couple days ago and just wanted to start out by saying how awesome its been and how great of a community you have.  The custom mods have been enjoyable and extremely convenient.  I really like the "weed" mod haha.

I noticed a couple things previous servers I've been on have included that UDDER doesn't currently have.  Is there any interest in implementing Gems?  Other servers have valuable gems that you can sell.  These are found randomly in rocks around the map and also in "Gem Tower" missions.  These missions were extremely difficult to complete but were extremely rewarding if completed.  Another fun mission I haven't see on this server is the president mission.  In this one the president is in town and its your job to assassinate him!   He usually has a fair amount of gold on him for your struggles :)   

Also I was wondering if we could strengthen the fishing market by increasing the value of fish.  Fishing is really tedious and at the prices right now is not very profitable for the time invested.  I personally enjoy it because it brings a relaxing aspect to the game that is difficult to achieve otherwise.

Thanks for the input Donald.  Im sure Bigegg will comment when he reads this.  He is both owner and developer here on Udder.

I cant wait to see the new missions coming. Also sell price in fish, and other meat would be nice to see. also brings a peaceful way of making money, and low risk

Also I don't know how difficult to implement it would be, but would virtual garages ever be possible?

Implementing Gems is certainly a possibility. I will probably do something cool with them rather than just finding them in random rocks. Those missions that you mentioned are missions that most servers have, which I am trying to avoid. I will be cranking out some cool missions that are completely custom to our server :)

To access the virtual garage, go to any trader city and find the guy that sells vehicles. Scroll wheel on him and there will be a garage option. You can also store air vehicles at the Aircraft dealer using the hangar option :)

in regards to virtual garages, they were always kinda buggy for me on other servers.  Plus, since vehicles are indestructible if locked in your plot radius, i dont see the need.  If you want your btr or venom or whatever safe and sound, i think you should have to go to trader and "risk" it a little then.  Thats why i like the low bank limit.  Makes players move briefs, so a little risk involved...

But i do like the idea of fish prices being boosted at minimum 2-3 times the current sell prices.  We used to do that all the time on GG to chill and load up the bank when bored.  Considering the health/blood benefits from eating cooked fish also, especially blue fin tuna, i think it is justified from a game mechanic aspect also.

Oh! I did not know vehicles were indestructible if they were within your plot pole! In that case yes virtual garages are completely unnecessary. I'm very excited for the custom missions, new content is always fun.  So yea the only thing left would be helping out our little friends in the sea :)

just be aware, Donald, it is possible to ram/push vehicles out of a plotpole area and then destroy them if out in the open.
